Enrollment
At Abundant Life Academy we provide most unique Christian
boarding school experience available anywhere in the world.
We are especially equipped to handle troubled teens that have
a sense of entitlement. Abundant Life Academy is the environment
where we deal with issues of entitlement, with the goal of
restoring your troubled teen back to the path of personal
success. We instill the principles of appreciation, respect,
integrity, truthfulness, and submission to parental authority.

The first step toward enrollment is to go to the application
page of our web site. Once our admissions department
receives your application one of our Admissions Coordinators
will contact you within 24 hours and answer any questions
that you may have. At this time
we ask that you begin to pray, seeking God’s perfect
will. You can count that we will also be praying, seeking
God’s will regarding the enrollment of your child. We
will inform you of our enrollment decision soon after receiving
and reviewing your submitted application.

The next step is to set up the transportation arrangements.
Your best bet is to again contact Wendy Rogers as she can
coach you through the process of arranging for travel and
save you some money. Many of our parents choose to accompany
their teen to Abundant Life Academy, where they meet the staff and tour the campus. There are
plenty of wonderful accommodations near the Abundant Life
Academy campus. If you are not able to accompany
your teen there are professional escorts that we can recommend.
The monthly tuition fee of $4,250 covers the cost of providing
24 hour/7 day professional supervision, Christian leadership
training, academic instruction, vocational instruction, housing,
meals, transportation, tutoring, and recreational activities.
Most Christian boarding schools do not cover the cost of transportation,
tutoring, or recreational activities in their monthly tuition.
Our monthly tuition fee also covers the cost of vocation development,
school supplies, and off campus activities. As you already
know, dealing with troubled teens demands a tremendous amount
of supervision. The majority of the cost to care for your
child goes to cover the cost of staff that supervise and ensure
the health, safety, and welfare of your child. We consider
Abundant Life Academy to be the fresh alternative to the traditional
Christian boarding school, serving troubled teens that have
a sense of entitlement.

As with most boarding schools, Abundant Life Academy requires
a one-time enrollment fee of $4,250.00. This fee covers a
variety of upfront costs that are generally associated with
setting up a new student-leader, as well as to cover on-going
unforeseen costs while your teen is enrolled in Abundant Life
Academy. These costs include transportation to and from the
airport, bedding and linen, bathroom and hygiene supplies,
Christian CD's, and other miscellaneous
incidental costs.
There is also and Aftercare Coaching fee of $1,495.00 and an International Mission Trip fee of $2,500.00. The Aftercare fee covers the 3 months of Parent Coaching and Training as your child transitions home. The International Mission Trip fee covers your student’s International Mission trip to Costa Rica where they work in missions for 4 weeks.
Unlike most other boarding school programs Academic curriculum
is an expense that "will be" covered in the monthly
tuition fee. Our curriculum is provided by Willow Bend Academy
National High School. Essentially, the course work your child
will complete is fully accredited, accepted in all 50 states,
and in the time we have used Willow Bend Academy all course
work has been accepted by local school districts. Many of
our students receive their high school diploma while enrolled
with Abundant Life Academy.

Parents are required to provide seasonal clothing, walkmans, sleeping bags, sunglasses,
gloves, and other such items. Upon the award of enrollment
each family will be given a comprehensive list of what is
acceptable and appropriate to bring with him or her upon enrollment.
Abundant Life Academy has teamed up with MasterNet Foundation,
a non-profit scholarship program that allows family and friends,
and other organizations, to donate money on behalf of the
student’s family in order to help them over the cost
of tuition. The donor receives a tax-deductible receipt for
donation, which can be a tremendous value to the donor. In
the case of donations made to MasterNet on the behalf of a
student and his/her family, everyone wins. The donor wins,
the family wins, and the student wins.
Also, you might be interested in obtaining a loan to pay
for your child’s educational needs. For more information
about loans please contact Donna Zetts, CFO at 414-491-3110.

Once you have enrolled your child into Abundant Life Academy
you will need to be introduced to all of the policies and
procedures of Abundant Life Academy. You will need to know
about everything your child is going through in his/her first
few weeks and beyond. There are a lot of details that you
will need to be aware of and need to be a part of. Again,
you will need to contact Wendy Riddle at 575-391-8078 to get
all of the details on how to proceed.
Shortly after your teen’s admission, the Abundant Life
Academy Family Representative will contact you and walk you
through the next phase. Most parents have a difficult time
coping with all the issues surrounding the enrollment and
departure of their child. It is very understandable, and we
want you to know you are not alone.
