Christian Boarding Schools
Abundant Life Academy is a unique Christian boarding school
for troubled teens… there is none like us. Why? Because
we believe that Jesus is the only answer. If you are looking
for us (man) to restore your child you have come to the wrong
place. If you are looking for a group of believers who are submitted
to God and are willing vessels obedient to the Holy Spirit,
then Abundant Life Academy is the right place for your troubled
teen.
At Abundant Life Academy we don't force the Bible on anyone…
but we do restore the troubled teen back to the destiny he/she
has in Christ! How? By demonstrating the love of Jesus as
described in the Bible. Do the ALA students study the Bible?
Absolutely! Do they study scriptures, pray, and sign worship
music? Absolutely. However, the truth is that these very same
students went to church at home, where they heard the word,
prayed, and sung worship songs. But why didn't it work? Why?
Because we are all called into a relationship with Jesus…
He is calling us. Reading the Bible does not work unless you
apply the truth to your life. Praying does not work unless
you are seeking His perfect will.
At Abundant Life Academy our students come to realize that
wandering away from Jesus is not what they thought it was…
they were looking for fun, comfort, and the easy way out.
What they got is regret, loss, and devastation. Our students
learn that they created the mess they are in, and that restoration
with Jesus (TRUTH) is the only way out of the problems. It
does not take much to convince the ALA student that he/she
has made poor decisions… they all seem to take responsibility
for their poor choices shortly after their enrollment. The
consequences of their poor choices motivate them to seek the
truth. In essence, they return to their first love –
Jesus!
The Abundant Life Academy student break down the walls that
they have built around their heart by becoming thankful for
all that they have, being grateful for what God has blessed
them with, and returning to a destiny of promise. When the
walls are broken down they begin to see how their poor choices
undermined everything good in their lives. They start to see
how they have been deceived, duped into going after things
of the flesh. Our students begin to seek after the things
of God, finding them selves dissatisfied with the things of
this world.
